Homeland Security Series: These works touch upon the social landscape created in the aftermath of 9/11. The series focuses on the metamorphis of US citizens perception of safety and the governments ability to persuade and legislate the publics rights in regard to privacy, habeas corpus, and free speech.

In "Subject to Search" I used video taken from all the travel I did while working in the corporate world. An experience that involved flying one to two times a month and spending an inordinate amount of time proceeding through security checkpoints. Casually recorded images capture the tedious, uncomfortable, and hypereal environment of travelers parading through screening systems. The suitcase, with which I traveled, is used as the screen to encapsualte the video and add a physical presence of the actual experience.
